Studio
What is Studio?
The World in Red Studio is a space to discover and share content directly with Girl in Red and fellow members of the community.
Girl in Red will be posting a new question or idea that you can respond to, such as collaborative contests, ideas for original artworks, playlist curations, and more. You can also share something else at any time if you’d like - whether it’s a song, playlist, video, art, photo or images, etc.
Top creators will be awarded with Creator medallions every week. Holders of Creator medallions will gain creative rights in the community, get first access to future collaborative opportunities with Girl in Red, and other exclusive rewards.
How do I use Studio?
You can upload images or share links from supported platforms, which are currently Vimeo, YouTube, Spotify, and Soundcloud.
You can also support posts you like by tapping the 🔥 icon.
What are medallions?
Medallions are awarded as recognition for notable actions in the community, and unlock access to rights in the community, first access to future collaborative opportunities with Girl in Red, and other exclusive rewards. You will be notified when you receive a medallion and can view medallions in your profile.

Does this utilize blockchain technology?
Yes. Access passes in the community are minted on Polygon, a low carbon impact blockchain enabling us to maintain a digital, verifiable record of ownership and make each pass certifiably unique, helping us to better identify and reward the most engaged fans within an artist’s community. Each mint uses less energy than it takes to send a single tweet, and every minted asset is a one-of-a-kind digital collectible. This means that you truly own your assets, independent from this platform or any intermediary.
Why am I being asked to sign a login message?
When you create your World in Red account, you are creating a unique address that will hold your World in Red Medallion. As a verification process, you are then asked to sign to verify that you are the owner of the address that you are given. Proceed in order to finish the account registration process.
How do I transfer my community assets to another wallet?
In order to transfer your community assets to yourself or to another owner, you need to import your digital wallet recovery phrase into a self-custodial wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Rainbow, etc.). Below are the steps you will need to take to do so if you signed up for an account with your email address:
- Log into the community, tap the top right icon and click “Edit profile”.
- Under “Account Details” tap on the “View wallet” icon to the right of “Wallet address”.
- Tapping on that icon will bring you to https://wallet.magic.link; login using the same email address as your community profile.
- Tap your user icon at the top left (if you are using the Google email login, you will see your Gmail icon here).
- Tap “Wallet secret phrase” and read the important security messages carefully.
- Accept both security messages by tapping the empty boxes and tap “Reveal secret phrase” to be able to reveal or copy your secret phrase.
- Each type of self-custody wallet will have its own process to import seed phrases. One popular self-custody wallet option is MetaMask and you can find their instructions on how to import seed phrases here.
